It started actually when a friend told me that he took his driver licens and bought his bike a Intruder 1400 ( picture below) when i was visiting him during my hollyday, in the summer of 2002. My thought was then, can he do it then i can do it to (maybe a middleage crisis) but you only live once.

I bought my first bike a Yamaha 650 A -99

in autumn-02 at Sweden motorshop in Gothenborg when i had decided to take my driverslicens for motorcykle. Thought that it was a god idea to practise on my own bike at home to get the feeling.
Started to read my books in september -02 at Erikslust trafficshool in Malmö, to make the examination at Vägverket 21/12-02. When i had made the examination of 60 questions i could focus on my driving, that i started 3/2-03. I drove 10 dubble lessons during the spring. I made the final driverslicens examination on a sunny day the 7/5-03. What a happy day it was, i almost cried when i got the result.


I drove my dragstar 650 until august when my family was in blekinge on vacation. By accident i discovered that Oves motor in Olfström wasn`t far away. We drove there a warm summer day because i wanted a bigger bike. I tested first a Wildstar and then a 1100 dragstar that was my first option to bye. But after have driven the Wildstar there was no return.
The papers was signed and Oves took my 650-dragstar in exchange. Got sissybar and windshield to, have since then bought saddlebags and luggage rack.


In the spring -04 i bought highwaybar and pegs to put on to get a better driving possition. Have just assembled v&h longshots and kn filter and made adjustments in dynojet, bought it mostly for the sound and the look of the pipes, what a sound !!!

The summer went fast and the bike had to rest for the winter whitout more modifications. When the spring came in -05 and i had been out on the roads for a while the next adjustment, risers was bought, to get a better driving position. A new mailbag replaced the k- drive bags to get a dirty look.

as on my third Swedish Bikemeet this year. Bought a new Looney-seat during the summer, it made a lot on the look of the bike. Bought it whitout gelpad that made it much harder than the original seat, if you drive longer tours. Havn`t decided yet if i am going to do anything about it.

The spring came at last even 2006. Have bought a new taillight and turn signals from kuryakin, doesn`t look completely wrong. Also assembled the svingarms chrome. I havn`t driven to much yet, but the summer have just started. Will change both tires in juli, before the trip to västervik bike meet.


Västervik is approaching and the tires are changed. We were about 8 bikes that drove away on that thursday morning. The weather was decent when we started, but about 100 km before Västervik we were forced to stop due to heavy rain. The only thing you could see was the taillight of the bike ahead of you. The bike meet were very nice, and one that i can recommend.
Have put some pictures on the gallery page. Otherwise it havn`t happend to much to the bike during the fall. No more roads to discover this year, the gloves is on the chelf, and i`m looking forward to a new spring.
